It is a cold case that will never be officially solved because the law enforcement authorities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New York, in their perversion of the justice system and working in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, have gone out of their way to see that it isnt. This story is taken directly from the police files and reports following the disappearance of Kathy Ann Wilson on May 18, 1988, as well as those written with regard to the investigation into her murder following the discovery of her skeletal remains on September 22, 1989. It tracks the events leading up to the subsequent arrest and capital murder prosecution of Jay William Buckley for the crime, the defense offered by court appointed attorney, Barry Lee Smith, and is written using the actual court files, records and reports. Following the Buckley Trial, it continues using the first hand accounts of interviews, investigations and real life experiences of the author. Pseudonyms have been used to protect the privacy and identities of certain persons who have been named in the police files as potential suspects in this case. A pseudonym has also been used to protect the identity of the person the author believes to be the actual murderer. This book represents 15 years of the author s life and nearly 20 years since Kathy Wilson first went missing. Few people still remember this case and that is the way the authorities want it forever buried in the dusty archives of unsolved murders of insignificant people like Kathy Wilson. It is the story of corruption in the foundations of our justice system that in this instance reached as high as the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and even to the governor s mansion as it systematically went about a cover up to protect the actors who were part of the system. The Wrong Arm of the Law is about truth and the consequences we all must endure when it is ignored for whatever reason.
